Unlike more institutional assisted living facilities, Alabama Oaks is located in a residential area where quiet tree-lined streets replace traffic and parking lots. With sprawling greenery and charming Southern Architecture, the facility offers a wonderful tranquil home-like environment.

In 1999, Alabama Oaks was purchased by the current owner and underwent a complete renovation that returned the property to its original splendor. The facility is comprised of several cottages situated within an acre of property. In addition to two dining rooms, entertainment areas and flowering gardens, there are large front porches where residents enjoy spending time reading, talking or simply sitting.
